HI!

Hello! I'm Sampey Instrumental, a lover of Irish music and sea-themed songs. Nosco as drummer, then TinWhistle, Irish flute, kalimba, marimba, stilphone, Native American flute, piano, ocarina and bagpipes; but I long for a hurdy-gurdy! I've been playing since 2015, and in 2022 I finally started releasing my songs!!! I love Folk music, Irish music and medieval songs, which are the genres I try to play the most.

Every musician who inspires someone, some other musician who has given him a boost without knowing it, for me there are some: Cullen Vance; Alina Gingertail; Malinda and the Bardomagno. Everyone has been an inspiration to me to start this journey, which I don't regret!

Of course, there are also people I know that I have to thank, my family, for always supporting me; my first drum teacher, without him I would never have been passionate about music I think; my middle school music teacher, without whom I would never have learned and loved the world of flutes.

Playing folk music was not easy, when I started it was not looked upon favorably as a thing by my peers, who often made fun of me for this, I sometimes thought of stopping, that it was useless to continue, and in the end here I am! Still playing like it was the first time, because folk music is something incredible! It manages to pass centuries of emotions and thoughts, it keeps immortal a culture and traditions now forgotten, and for me it has often been a refuge...
